On Film

Recently a film crew from the US traveled to Iceland to shoot a story about what we do at Aquafisk, our dedication to the environment, and overall commitment to excellence.

The result is a great short film with artful footage of our plant, our fishermen, landscape, and daily life.

Founder Ketill Helgason shared, "When I was 15 years old I got a job in the fish factory in my home town.” Starting out driving forklifts, he quickly moved on to start his own small business driving fresh fish to the farmers in the countryside. “I just loved it.”

"The fish business is like an addiction. Once you get in, you can’t get out.”
